Our next give it a go session at Penlan is on Tuesday the 6th of August.
Please arrive with time to get changed, we will be allowed on poolside at 2.30pm, the session will end just before 3.30pm. There are lockers available at the pool. It is important that all participants listen to our instructors to ensure everyone’s safety during the session.
Hannah will be in the reception area until around 2.25pm, if you arrive later please meet on pool side and let one of our volunteers know you’re here.
We encourage you to use the seating available poolside to watch the session.

What to wear
Normal swimming attire will be great, you are also welcome to wear a t-shirts or rash vest.
Cost
The session is free of charge and funded by Swansea Council’s COAST fund.

Sunday the 18th – FREE – River Tawe – Canoe’s, Kayaks & SUP (limited) – lots of time.
Tuesday the 20th – FREE – Penlan Leisure Centre – Priority to those who haven’t been before.
Sunday the 25th – FREE – Penlan Leisure Centre – Ideal second session.
Every Thursday at Pontardawe Swimming Pool (£8 per person) – FINAL session Thursday 29th August.
Every Sunday (apart from 25th) at North Dock, Llanelli.
If you like it...
If you like it and want to carry on, you can attend 3 sessions before you’ll need to become a member of the club.
Our regular sessions cost £8/10 and are held indoors at Penlan Leisure Centre, Ystradgynlais Sports Centre, Pontardawe Swimming Pool, Amman Valley Leisure Centre and outdoors at North Dock and on the River Tawe.
For under 18s membership costs £35/year. If you compete with the club it’s an additional £28/year for Canoe Wales insurance.
We have teams in Under 14, Under 18, Open (mixed age and gender) and Women’s (mixed age) leagues/tournaments and youth members have the opportunity to train at Welsh development days.
